Ilke Landman
A journey of texture, colour and expression
Ilke Landman is an emerging visual textile artist with an eye for detail and a love for textures. Crafting mesmerising textile pieces that blend intricate design, natural beauty and exceptional craftsmanship, her passion for creativity extends beyond her own creations to empowering others. Rooted in her core values, her artistic practice reflects a profound connection to the natural world and the emotion it evokes. For Ilke, her craft is more than a creative pursuit—it is a grounding and spiritual journey.
Guided by her core values, Ilke draws inspiration from nature, particularly the elegant Ginkgo Biloba, which shapes the ethos and logo of her brand, Knot & Grow. Alongside her studio practice, she shares her expertise with a growing network of students, gently guiding them as they too come into leaf and discover the transformative power of hands-on crafting.
Her recent accomplishments include an upcoming digital “Art on the Loop” exhibition in New York’s Holy Art Gallery and the development of a bespoke product line for a luxury interior design store in Spain’s Costa Blanca region.
When not in her studio, Ilke nurtures her other passion. She enjoys growing plants from seed and assembling intricate terrariums, each reflecting her love of organic forms.
